As far as I have heard it was in a recent court case in Sydney I think, but it isn't illegal by any means.

Actually it is, they are handing out warnings and even fines for use of it. I got one :'( although about month after I got rid of it so I was miffed >_<

It was bound to happen, Kazaa violates basically every law that exists :/

  • spyware
  • adware
  • viruses
  • soliciting illegal content
  • copyright infringement

etc...maybe if they actually monitered their system they wouldn't be so full of...well...garbage  Kazaa was the reason my comp crashed, it gave me several viruses in one download - silly me! So basically if you use it get rid of it ASAP, it's probably already given you plenty of adware/spyware. :/ Dunno if it's possible to use it without gaining something nasty >_<

I never use it myself. I've always known Kazaa had spyware, so I never used it.

Warez sites then?

Anyway, that's by far the worst scan log I've ever seen.
You should probably consider wiping your drives and reinstalling Window$.

Hahahhahaa that's the worst you've seen Phrank?

Try fixing computers for a living.

The first time a compy hit 10000 I cried, after that I realized that was one of the good ones.

Please.
For about 2 years, my computer was rendered inoperable from using the internet or using any windows programs like microsoft word. Of course then I had to pay a guy about $50 to fix it, but he charged me $100 because he spent 1 month trying to find the cause/solution.
*Logik repeatly kicks computer*

thats cheaper than the IT that my school hired...

a friend of mind deleted a ini file for all the right type, a "educational" program, and screwed the thing up, the school hired an IT to work for two hours to find out that all you needed to do was to change the drive letter from R: (primary) to F: (backup) to fix the problem. $300 dollars to the IT, which works out to $150 every hour. what a ripoff, my friend had to pay 100 and got a due warning of suspension, his network account got suspended for like 2 month..

not quite as messed up as mine was (die chain letters die die die....I now use a different email...)

anyways recovery disks are your friend... if you don't do adult sites is there a teenager in the house? If so check Temp files, history, and cookies.

if you don't wana recover, clear temp cooks and hist (spyware can load into here). Then get every antispy/ad ware remover you can find. Mcafee is a good but pricey one

I havent read page 3. You need to post a Hijackthis log for review. Im a tech support site come to my site my forums really and go to the hijackthis forum read how to post a log.

Let me say you go down in the hall of fame for having the most crapware on your pc at one time. You must post a HJT log trust me. Those spyware removes wont get it cured all the way.

Please do it ok? Come on you have nothing to loose. Its up to you. Pm me or come over to my forums.

See you later
