What's yours? I've got a bunch. 1984 by George Orwell Animal Farm by George Orwell The Crystal Cave by Mary Stewart Brave New World by Aldous Huxley The Golden Compass, The Subtle Knife, the Amber Spyglass trilogy by Phillip Pullman And it's not really a novel, but Julius Caesar is Shakespeare's best imo. |

Animal Farm is awesome. I took Brave New World out of the library and will read it soon. 1984 is on my list. The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series is one of my favourites, although the last book is depressing. And for heavier reading, Frank Herbert's multitude of Dune books would be my choice. I'm impressed by the scope of his saga, and his son and Kevin J. Anderson are doing a good job carrying on the legacy. |
