I'm sorry, but I'm just completely sick of all the "~~~*
Code:

RGP Inferno remixed + fixed v. 3.0.0.1.2" threads. I used to go into the Code Snippets forum to look at what nice codes people have managed to make (and if I like it, add it to my forum), and also give them some feedback on their skins. Well, the entire place is now completely clogged with these pointless threads. Post in the original topic! We even get a number of threads in General Support about problems with these.

So, I know that the whole Snippets forum is getting a rework with IF 2.0, but can't we please, and I'm begging you, please, have a rule that says that you post your modifications in the original thread, or at least get a sticky thread for "RGP Inferno Modifications." I'm sorry, but I'm just sick of it.

Oh, and congratulations to Zero Tolerance for having made something very successful.

[SMALL][SMALL][SMALL][SMALL][SMALL][SMALL][SMALL]I'm sorry if this has offended anyone, but I'm fed up with this. It's unproductive, and just causes us grief.[/SMALL][/SMALL][/SMALL][/SMALL][/SMALL][/SMALL][/SMALL]

Thank you for reading this post, even if you don't agree. [/QUOTE]

I guess I don't get it either.
Sort of like posting your "mod" of the scrolling news box code when all you did was add your own news as instructed.
We could just make it a TOS violation.

Hmmm... Could roleplaying be considered impersonation?
We have a clause about that in the TOS Posted Image

I don't understand the RPGs, never looked at them so I happily stay away from all those rpg help threads.

Trust me I agree. I'm sooooooo bored of the RPG thingy topics. What's the great obsession with RPG hacks anyway? What's so great about them? And all these people doing modified versions of original ones is just stupid. I thought that was ripping codes, where you use others in your own without permission, no? And it's not that hard to modify some of these things i'd imagine, people can do that for themselves anyway can't they?

It is silly. Unfortunately, when people do a 'modified' version of an RPG thing, they might not even no any code themselves, just how to configure exiting ones. Whatever happened to the real coders like Stefan and WWX?

No offence to anyone, I know a lot of you can actually code well and make something good. But all these modifications and the RPG-obsession is so annoying after a while.
Maybe it's me, perhaps RPGs are great, and it's just that I don't appreicate them. Maybe the 'modified' versions are useful. But one thing I do know is that it gets annoying after a while. Meh :/

There's nothing wrong with modifying codes. even if you're just adding races etc. you're trying to help other people. Let the topics exist...

But why can't you people just post it in the original topic?

Plus, they can "add races" (whatever that means) themselves.

Yep. Surely it's not that hard to modify these things? And if it is, keep it to the original topic. No need for the countless 'modified' versions

I dont think that it should be allowed either. Only acceptions to modifying ZT's or anybody elses codes would be with his concent and if they change the JS to add a new feature of a sort. All these "Themed" RPG hacks are getting tedious to go past. I do like the stickey idea for them, cause there is about 35% of the people here who are lazy and will use such a pointless thing, but if there is a stickey or regular topic for modifications, it should be codes only, no comments. If you post codes in the origional topic, it will get flooded and stretched. Also if you comment in the modifications it might get out of controll.

Overall, just get it out of the forum in general, even if its just in one topic, i just hate seeing "LiKe OMGZZzz a H@KzzorZ I dIDzzz!!1!! Itz So k3wl13!!11!!wtf?!"

There, thats my two cents.

I think the code RPG's are fine, they're just topics about what people love. But there is one thing. We should take off the many bug topics in the Support Section and everything. They get very annonying :/
