hello, someone told me that masking my IP address will help prevent hacking. can someone please help me mask my IP address. is there like a code i need? or a program? thanks, Matt

search for ip blokker so they can't see you.
but it doesn't help much if you go on internet you are putting an gate open so they get in.(hackers)

Either your ISP uses dynamic (changes on every dial-up) or static (never changes).

Eh, I wouldn't worry about your IP being visible. Every site you visit knows your IP anyway, so... :ermm:
And these things that apparently 'mask' IPs, I doubt they're very reliable. There's really no need for them. As long as you have a firewall, you'll be fine ;)

Yeah, if you have a sound firewall, and have your security definitions up to date, you don't really need to worry about masking your IP number
