I kind of thought he would get the death penalty too.

However, I agree with the Green Party and Ralph Nader that the death penalty should be outlawed.

That is all...

When your own Father agrees with your Death Sentence, You must have done something to deserve it. :/

Yup I knew when the Jury sentenced him, which isn't official until sentencing day. I still can't believe he doesn't show any emotion with any of this. What did they take out the front part of his brain that controls emotion?

He might have wanted the death penalty. There are those who would choose to die - another flaw in the death penalty.

How bout we just shoot him, instead of wasting thousands of dollars to be on death row?

The repeals cost more than him being on death row.

*Nudges Judge to sentence Scott to death tomorrow*

A flaw? How is that a flaw? So if he wants to die then he dies. It's not a flaw just because he wants to die. If he wants to die he needs get get a knife.

It is a flaw in the sense that the death penalty is supposed to be punishment. However, if the one who is sentenced wants to die, then it is basically letting him off the hook with a hand shake.

Too long? It's a matter of life and death and a matter of who killed a baby and a woman. It can't take too long. In the long run the case itself was pretty short.

As for the Death Penatly having flaws, if the person wants to die he can kill himself.

I kind of thought he would get the death penalty too.

Could that be because the jury had already "recommended" it.

IMO this is a non-event. Basically the jury sentences him, and then the judge can reduce the sentence. He chose not to, as had been predicted.
