My laptop has a problem. If i put a disc in my laptop it doesnt read it.. I have tried everything... Can anybody help me?? I have to read discs on my laptop(and use programs that are not runable without the disc inside) Can anyone help me??? I was working with my laptop and all of the suddon it just stopped:S It is now located at "0" on the "F"disc it just says it is located but mylaptop cant read it |

I would look up the website of the company that manufactured the laptop, or the drive, if it didn't come with the laptop, and see if they have any troubleshooting/support info or forums. Failing that, you can often get the model number of the drive, usually listed on the bottom or back of it, and do a search on Google for something like "[insert model number] drive won't read disks" and come up with lots of results from sites where other people have already posted the same problem. |

the drive could just be going dead. Even if you just bought the laptop. If it's new you should still have a warrenty on it (I think it's a 6month.) |
