that happened to me with tutorial zone and a few other sites.
None used redirectional services and I always have "remember me" check marked when I first log in.

I saw another post about this and apparently the person cleared their cookies and it was fixed.

From what i know and from what i have found out. The problem is cookies. When you log into one board it creates its own cookies. then you log into another board and it overwrites the cookies from the first board. All you need to do is delete your cookies and try again if it still keeps doing it then your stuck with doing it all over again. It happends to me when i go from this board to my board. and i also keep having to do the username and passwords for both boards.

I have tired that about 2 or 3 times. didn't do anything. I cleared ALL browser infomation. Cache, cookies, passwords, history, and the other things Firefox does.

This is happening to me too. When I would click on my IF support bookmark, it would open the page, but I would be a guest. I tried deleting the InvisionFree cookies, and the passwords, yet when I do that and login ,and click on the bookmark, it would log me out again.

I believe that the problem may be with your bookmarks/favorites. It seems that even the slightest little difference makes things go wonky in IE (seeing as every other browser keeps logins just fine).

Check them over to make sure they're pointing to the right address. (First, use the bookmark to go to the board in question. Next, check the bookmark to see if the URL it points to is the same one that appears in the address bar. It needs to have the same capitalization and it should end with index.php.)

Of course, I can't verify that it works because I've stopped using IE. Or Windows. :D

what if it ends in act=idx. I think idx = index, but I dont' know what 'act' means.

act means action. Generally, if you want to bookmark the front page of the board, it's better to just leave everything off beginning with the question mark.

I fixed the problem.

Go to Tools --> Options --> Privacy --> Cookies --> Exceptions --> look for invisionfree.com

The cookie was being blocked by Firefox for some reason. :/

It seems that if you delete the invisionfree.com cookie, it will end up there.

It also seems that delete that cookie, it will delete s7.invisionfree.com's(or any other board hosted by InvisionFree) cookies too.
