Right now i'm on another computer typing this. but the usual computer I use to come here is acting like the CPU usage is near 100%. seems to have froze. what coud cuase that? I tried to open Windows media player 10 and it 'froze' the computer. On that computer I have (open right now) AIM, Firefox, and the Ctrl+alt+delete screen thing.

just started happening last night around 6,7,or 8 PM (central time) after I put in some FTP infomation in Smart FTP to download some files to add some code to them

if I have to restore I am fine with that.

You're better off to get someone to check your computer out.

356 MB - size
351 MB - size on disk

126 songs total

most are zelda, sonic, mario, some donkey kong, some others like sleigh ride, a 'mario' remix of SR with the same tune but with a mix of mario in it.

if I have to download the songs again I am fine with that. my C: drive also has 8.29 GB used out of 55.8 TOTAL GB.

i'm thinking it's norton go back. the booklet said expect increased Disk activity. But I have it use like 10 or 100 MB instead of the whoopping 8 GB it's supposed to have.

I think your problem is one that happens to me every so often. Turn off all your programs, turn off your computer, and turn it back on in 2 or 3 minutes. It should then work.

Do you have .mp3 files? if so, convert them to .wavs. It's a big memory saver.

I had all mp3's except for like 1 SPC, and I think like 1 WAV; or some other type of media (music) file that isn't midi.

I say 'had' becuase I just restored the computer.
