Where are the controller ports?

The controlers are wireless, I don't think there are any ports on it.

You can have up to 7 controllers connected to the PS3 via BlueTooth. However, on the back of the controller shown at E3, there is a little USB port, which makes me wonder if you can connect the controller to the system directly (can usb power things?). Or maybe thats how they are charged.

i got a USB mouse here somwhere in case i lose this one or it breaks or whatever, and the mouse works so i guess it should work with controllers as well? there's no addition batteries my mouse ( i think ) so it can probably charge as well.

but, why seven controllers ><

why not seven? :P

i know what you are saying though, why not 6 or 8? but there is probably some reason or other.

yeah, they probably know what they're doing. but how would you get that on screen? you could use 2 TV's for instance, but do 8 controllers then, cutting a screen in 3 pieces looks weird, or one screen in 7 pieces >< .

It does have support for two HD televisions... both running at 1080p, which is pretty damn good :)

I hope it supports the Ps2 pad, all the buttons seem the same... USB adapter perhaps? They'd better. If you ask me, the Ps2/Ps1 controller is THE best controller EVER designed. Quite frankly, I'm starting to find the Ps3 looking wierder and wierder (I'm especially hating the font on the top (Spiderman?), and the overall design- oh well, I guess I'll hide it in a drawer)
