Number one reason why you should get Firefox:

It has "fire" in its name. Haha.

I dont light "fire" to stuff. :r

Every good thing about FF has been said, standards, security, no popups, extensions, themes, free, fast, free, cool, has fire in its name, has fox in its name. Did I mention free.

OK, I just installed FireFox. (finally.) But every time I try to open a web page on it, it gives me the message: "The connection was refused when attempting to contact (insert URL here)." Who can tell me what the heck is wrong?! :o

Try IE (or what ever you used before installing FF) and see if it comes up with the same message.

IE works for a while, but after a few link clicks, it always comes up with:

And yes, my regular internet (AOL) works fine. (for itself) The thing is I REALLY don't like using AOL.

You could be using some sort of horrible web browser that takes 10 minutes alone to launch whereas in Firefox it will load much faster.

Using the Prefetch function for Windows makes it even faster.

In your desktop or quick launch, right-click on the firefox icon. Click properties and under target after the quotation mark for the program location, put
Code:

/prefetch:1

The target location should fully say
Code:

"C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" /prefetch:1

Then reboot your computer.

It'll start up much faster after that, Trust me. ;)

=Bad.

That means, when Firefox is the dominant browser, Hackers will start picking on FF and we will have to retreat to IE again. :ermm: :arr: :'(

Or Avant. ;)

Lol..  Thanks :)  :D
Is their any more convincing speeches to get me to convert?

There is also has FireTune, which makes browsing Firefox very much better. If you use Firefox, you'll want to destroy both Internet Explorer and Windows Explorer. They both suck B) .

Firefox is the fastest, probably. It's due to them not showing some hacks/mods/codes such as the RPG hack, etc. I think that's how it's faster, anyway.

FF dosn't show them because they are improperly coded.

Or they don't want them there due to the taking up so much time to load? :r I don't really know that much about browsers anyway.
