What Firefox Has:

+Tabbed Browsing to make surfing the web easier. No windows clutter your desktop.
+Better Security.
+No Popups, no crazy toolbar needed.
+Fully adaptable, and FREE Themes.

What IE has:

-None of these.

 For me, it loads pretty fast. ^_^
Are you sure it isn't your internet connection or something?
And if it is just too slow for you, you could try one of those "Make Firefox Faster" thingamagic things. :ermm:

There are like 50 themes (skins) you can download to change the look of firefox. the buttons, (left/right arrow, reload, stop, home, and others). Mozilla update/TEM (the extension mirror) have extensions and themes. (sorry to the staff if that was against the rule).

FF has a lot of bugs that it can't fix. For example when you try to upload files it will crash, sometimes it's "Back" button will decide not to work. Plus you have to keep updating its patches to fix it up but it won't fix the problems you want ...just other security problems you never thought of. The only reason I use it over IE is that people design viruses for IE and less for FF and I don't have a anti-virus thing... if you have Norton then IE is amazing and there's no reason to switch. Tab-browsing and all the rest are over-rated...the truth is Microsoft has a monopoly and they won't let some small time company come along and take them over so easily... so IE is a lot easier to use and a lot more suitable for most websites. Even IF works better on IE than on FF. Stick to IE if you can...but if you need a spyware blocker and all that..then go to FF. But FFs bugs are the most annoying things in the world, I update it all the time and it just gets worse and worse.

Also norton is designed to catch viruses not spyware/adware.
