This is what happened when my mom and my dad were about 19 and were traveling. Well they didn't have a car then so they have to hitch-hike. You know when they stick up their thum (sp?) and a car will pull over to drive them somewhere? Well they did that, jumped in a car and the driver drove them for a couple minutes before reaching in his pocket and getting out a gun. Yes I am serious. A gun. Well my dad was in the front seat and he saw this and grapsed the mans hand before the driver could shoot. My dad pointed the gun to the guys face (but he wasn't going to shoot. He would never do that. He was just trying to get a solution so that he and my mom would get out safe) well anyway, he said "PULL OVER NOW!" with the gun pointed at the drivers face, and the driver pulled over and they got out of the car, learning there lession

NEVER, EVER, EVER HITCH-HIKE!!!!

If my dad hadn't done what he did, I don't think I would have parents today.

Hitch Hiking is bad...but if you have to do it, do it with Truck drivers if you have to. They help you while they're at work so they don't have time to kill you, unless it's during their lunch break. I 've heard they're some of the friendliest people when hitch-hiking, cuz they like the company.

NEVER, EVER, EVER HITCH-HIKE!!!!

I disagree. It is obvious that you were unsuccessful in your hitchhiker endeavours because you lacked a towel.

*Tachyon hopes that all strags consult with The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy next time before trying to hitchhike.
