Can You Just GIVE Your site Away?

Sure, why not? As long as that person follows the TOU, TOS, and Terms of Sales.

Ok, Someone call me an idiot now and get it over with..

How can you sell something that is free for the taking?!?

Well depends on how you look at it.

InvisionFree offers you the forum for free but you spend your time seting it up and designing graphics for it. Some of us use programs like photoshop which isnt cheap to start with. So in reallity if your going to sell a board you would be selling your time setting it up and your graphics on the forum but not the forum itself.

I dont understand all this, but i dont think its against the rules to make a enw admin, or sell an admin position :s after all, that is what ownership is.

I thought you could go to someone and say:

Here is $20.00, the password to my forum is ********.

I wouldn't sell mine for anything. It means too much.

Theres various reasons for someone to want to buy your forum. Some are too lazy to put the work and effort into it, others want the personal information collected by the registration process. Either way, don't expect to see your board after about a month. It will most likely be dead.

If you're that desperate to sell a board, then just give the board for free and hope that whoever got the board gives you money in an equally selfless, unrelated-to-the-board-gift way.
