although 2 are windows deviants and 3 are linux deviants, i technically have 5 separate OS's in my house. i personally use XP Pro atm and on the computer i am fixing up and modding for my girlfriend, Windows ME. Dont diss it, i set it up perfect where the blue screen never shows. anyways, i just currently acquired 2 new distros on Linux froma magazine and am considering running 3 separate Linux OS's on 1 HD. if i get a 60 or 80gb HD i was thinking of triple partitioning the thing to run Ubuntu 5.04, Fedora Core 4, and Debian 3.1. then figuring out which one i like the most, then De-partition the thing and just load up the one i like the best, then set it up to dual boot with my windows XP. does that seem like too much pointless work? If i build custom systems, and the customer asks for one of those 3 linux distros to be installed, i can install for free and copy the disk correct? |

@ Iostream: Seems like the best way to find out what you want. Go for it, I say. @ Luke6006: All 4 windows? Aren't there way more? ![]() Hmmz, I also have 5. (XP, Win95, Ubuntu, Knoppix and Mandrake. Though the only thing currently being used is XP )

Debian: According to http://www.debian.org/intro/free its free software, that you may alter and distribute freely. Fedora: In http://fedora.redhat.com/about/faq/ you can read:
So I'm pretty sure you can give away installs of both. |
