i'm looking at the iF page and theres two different types of forum descriptions... one is like [ link ] [ link ] [ link ] and another is [ link | link | link ] whats the difference? does it have to do with grouping? like, the first set does not relate to each other but the second set does? |

Quantum-locked when observed.

Moved to InvisionFree Discussion because this has nothing to do with programming. ![]() I don't think there's much of a difference, I think it just depends on when they were added. ![]() Unless Seth has some sort of evil organisational scheme mixed into all of this, which I wouldn't put past him.

thats just a difference in the Forum Description...Probably its because an Admin added one of them once and then added the other some time later. Flokkert |

Yeah, I think it's just a screwup. Though, I suppose it could be due to the Code Index not being a forum? Which do you prefer, the [ ] [ ] or the [ | ] ? |

No, PhranK, I dont think that has anything to do with it... the ] [ and the | are just markers... Flokkert |

Well, yeah, but what I meant was, Seth or whoever migh have used the different style to denote the fact that that's the only forum description with a link to a topic, rather than to a forum. :/ I doubt it though.

Personally I like [ | ] because it clearly seperates and it looks neater.

Plus, if you're on dialup, it will load noticeably faster, since it requires fewer characters.
