I saw this on Letterman tonight. Bush was just about to leave a news conference in China, and he tried to open the door, but the darn things were locked!

I guess he didn't have an exit stretegy...?

Nice.
What a tool.

Joke needs the drum though.
What do they call that when they do the drum thing after the punchline of a joke?

A 'rimshot' apparently ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rimshot ). Oh how we could all do with someone following us around with a drum kit, just waiting to play that whenever we say something funny or someone else says something extraordinarily lame. ^_^

Meh, so it was locked. It's funny either way, just like when I locked my friend in the bathroom. :r

Oh and it's not really a rim shot, that is when you use the rim of the snare as the time keeping instead of the snare, it gives it a different sound so I just call it a du du dum.

I can do that (as I'm a drummer and it's simple) and I did it at a show I was playing with my band this past May where they had a stand up comedian (one of the students) and after every joke I did that. Except one where I missed the cymbal. :r It was a bad joke anyway. :P

It's actually called a "sting." People wrongly call it a rimshot.
