And even IF the Colts become undefeated (which they won't) The Broncos'll knock them out of the playoffs.

Not that any of that matters, the Seahawks are gona be NFL 2005/2006 Champions.

And you can quote me on that!

And huricane, the Colts wouldn't be the first to go 16-0. The Dolphins accomplished that major feat in '72.

technically, when the dolphins went undefeated, the regular season was only 14 games ;) i should know, i've done a report on them before

Well, yeah, but technically they went 17-0 after winning the Super Bowl... ^_^

Would be awesome to see the Colts make history by going 19-0, let's say. ;)

A little off-topic, as long as we're talking about the Bengals...who expected Carson Palmer to be such an awesome quarterback this year?

Not me. :/

It would rule if Arizona beat Indi! Like they did to the Vikings in the '03/'04 season. Vikings started 7-0 and didn't make the playoffs!

Orginal poster: why don't you think it will happen?

If Indy gets by San Diego this week, I think Dungy will start pulling his starters out of the Seattle game. Dungy's number goal is the win the Super Bowl and I feel him. What good is it if the go 16-0 and possibly get an injury to a key player and then possibly lose in the playoffs because of it? If they lose a key player in the quest to get to 16-0 and lose in a playoff game, because of that injuried position, then going undefeated in the regular season be all for nothing.

Also, I think the home field environment may play a part in Seattle possibly upsetting Indy.

I thought Dungy said he'd keep his starters? Basically so they could 'get better' and keep playing. Also because they had a pretty bad pre-season, might want to just use these games as practice for the playoffs :P

Well, if you ask me, I say keep the starters. Sure, there's a chance one may get injured. But the key word is chance. None of the big-name guys have gotten injured through 13 games, so why bench them for the last few? This team has the potential to go 16-0, yes. They could make history, make a name for themselves, be known throughout history as one of the best teams to ever play the game. Who doesn't want that? I tell ya, if you take away Peyton, "Edge", Marvin, and so forth...you may as well slap at least one big, fat L on that schedule of yours.

No, he won't. Think about it, he pulls Manning for that last game. Hell, Indy would still win, but Manning would be off that week, and then the bye week. Waaaay too long. He'll keep everyone in if they are healthy, and if he wants to go all the way.

No way. The Seahawks'll show the Colts who owns the NFL!

Seattle is overrated. Look at the teams the beat:
Atlanta Won 21-18 (8-5)
Arizona Won 37-12 (4-9)
St. Louis Won 37-31 (5-8)
Houston Won 42-10 (1-12)
Dallas Won 13-10 (8-5)
Arizona Won 33-19 (4-9)
St. Louis Won 31-16 (5-8)
San Francisco Won 27-25 (2-11)
N.Y. Giants Won 24-21 (9-4)
Philadelphia Won 42-0 (5-8)
San Francisco Won 41-3 (2-11)
Combined win record: 53-90

Indi hasn't had a hard schedual either, but they are good, and will probably go undefeated.

Not to mention that the Giants SHOULD have won that game. Man, Feely, how could you miss three game-winners? :'(

Yeah, I wanted New York in that game. Sue me. :r

Cincinatti tried, but failed. San Deigo may accomplish that task.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I'm good. :P (although I also thought New England, Cinci and Pittsburgh would too :r )

Huge game, and coverage of this loss was everywhere and huge news in the NFL.

Shula and the '72 Dolphins are happy, though.

there was no way the colts would have went undefeated. everyone put to much hype on the colts and the colts were getting to confident.
dont count out the bears in the playoffs. even though i hate the bears... because im a Packers fan and i live in WI lol. anyways the bears have a great chance of going far.

That game was depressing to me. Fooey on the Chargers. :P I at least wanted Indy to match the Dolphins' 14-0, but no go. I guess we'll wait to get overexcited for the next time a team looks like they can make it. ;)

And they destoryed my team on Sunday night, and gave them limited hope in the playoffs. :r
