im suprised it isnt on the announcements here. as forum users we are at extremely high risk. especially those that are using forums for mmorpgs.

Let me put it like this: nearly all websites use images.

Everybody that is using the internet and has windows is at high risk. The only solutions now are to A: not use internet explorer. B: use the workaround and wait for the patch (or use the unoffical one). C: Simply do not use the internet.

Also, we only talk about things related to invisionfree in the announcements forum, nothing else.

It would be like fixing a broken window by feeding your dog.

It's really better to just switch to a different browser like firefox or opera.

And my nephew, who also uses my PC (and Firefox, of course) downloads a lot of images on a daily basis....

They mean images with malicious code in them, not all images.

Anyway, you should have got the offical patch now:
