I think that Dan Brown is an excellent author, and I do believe that the question was which of his books you think is better, not if you think of his writing abilities ![]() Right now I would have to say that The Da Vinci Code is better but I'm not completely sure, I'm still only half way through The Angels and Demons

I totally agree, Angels and Demons was the better book but that may be because I dont speak or read French and parts of Da Vinci's Code was based in France and it infuriated me that I couldn't understand or pronounce some of the words. In saying that, I also think Angels and Demons was better written. Da Vinci code blew me away on the religion front though, not coming from a highly religious background I found what the author was trying to say as kinda unnerving and he seemed to be trying to redeem himself in Angels and Demons on ths front. His other books were not as good and I couldn't finish Deception Point which is very rare for me as I am a total book worm and will read anything. |

Deception point did not captivate me as much as Angels & Demons. Angels & Demons >>> Da Vinci Code in terms of everything, except for the large religious issues in Da Vinci Code. |

ur weird dude. anyway i think Da vinci code is betta in terms of distingishing facts from fiction and the codes that they had to solve is great. Angels and Demons is betta because it's got those awsome pictures of the words which can be read upside down. Overall i think The Da vinci code is better |

I r weird? Haha, yeah, ok. Anyway yeah, no. As one of my friends put it better than I could: The story seems to meander along with no real purpose for large chunks of the text. The characters take a back seat to the 'adventure' in the story line, and like a lot of Brown's books the answer is often blantently apparent chapters before the end of the book. |

Never read them, but The Da Vinci Code code, in my case, is wrong. I don't see why people think it's right! Maybe because I'm Christian. (but that's mainly sterotyping). But what I have heard (on this board at least) Angels and Demons, but not sure what's it about...Angels and Demons? Lol. But I'm not allowed to read those type of books because my mom dosen't want me to get caught in the stuff. (though, my family is a big Harry Potter fan. lol) |

http://www.danbrown.com/novels/angels_demons/plot.html It's a pretty good book. Have to say though, in books and games, the Illuminati are becoming over used. I long for the day they aren't behind something, or at the very least they exchange the Latin for another language.
