remove ads? You own Invisionfree so you should be able to remove ads on the site. It may lose you some money but seriously, I click on every ad on Palliot Town [no link due to the rule, try to find the site] so I reload the site and click on every add and x out or click back. And is it possible to move the ads to a diffrent possision? |

Like what rJay said, it shows you what you get with InvisionFree, the support forum shows you, thats why they have not Implemented any codes to the forum. |

Apart from the reasons for them being there, i dont mind them. They blend in fine.. Or most of them do anyway. |

I'm sure that this site brings in quiet alot of money from those advertisments. And don't you want IF to grow big? Well, it needs money to do so. |

You don't realize how much money this site takes to stay alive, do you. Remove the ads, and I'd say it's $10,000 a day to continue to run 14 forum servers, 1 million or so subdomains, Hundreds or Thousands of GB's of data, etc. Loose a little money, I'd say the site'd go bankrupt in a days time |

I think that most of the add profit comes from the support forum. I would stop using IF should they take off ads...brandon needs to pay the bills, not only for IF, but humans need to eat too! |

I think you might be a tad off, or much more  Ads definitely can't be $10,000k (which mind you, $10,000k is $10,000,000) Servers aren't going to cost that much to run per day. I don't see where you are getting these estimates. |

fixed. Don't know how the k got there to begin with. I ment $10k, or $10,000. I assumed the estimate from looking at the costs of other large websites (newgrounds, for example). |

InvisionFree Support has one of the (if not the) highest member count on any InvisionFree forum. I think this forum earns Brandon the most money with the ads... more than about 1000 mini-boards combined. It should stay. |

Ads? I didn't even notice any ads. I think invision could put up more ads and I wouldn't notice. (don't do it) But, I don't mind someone getting wealthy off invisionfree. |

As mentioned by a number of people who have already posted, the advertisements are in place to generate funds. They are however designed to blend into the forums as much as possible. If you don't like the advertisements at all then there is an option to remove them from your own personal forum. This is not currently possible here at the main support boards. |
