I only ever have one rule for any of my communities, and that's "Don't be an asshole."
It should be pretty clear to anyone, and if it isn't, chances are they don't deserve to be there.
Usually works pretty well, and gives me lots of freedom to run the place as I see fit.

Freedom of speech- Free speech allows you to express your views on a subject without worrying about being banned or suspended. If you don't agree with an action, or if you believe that this political view is better than that one, say so, we take no issue with that.
However when your speech turns from free thought to slander of race/religion/certain people/nations, this right may be void to you. Posing statements that are off topic and server only to inflame other people will no be tolerated. Referring to a race/religion/person/nation in a derogatory way will lead to a possible suspension from PnP.

I rather like that one.

~If a post really upsets you, walk away from your computer, relax, think about why you're upset and respond after you've calmed down.

~Please remember that not all posts have an underlying message, so take posts for what is said, not for what is not said. It's not up to us to assume there is more to the story than what is written.

My board is a parenting support board, but sometimes things get heated. You know how everyone has an opinion on how kids should be raised.

While posting here, please make sure you adhere to InvisionFree's Terms of Service. Yes, we all know that nobody actually reads the TOS when you register, regardless of the fact they make you check that little box. But what they want you to do as a forum user is to not post anything profane or illegal.

Mind if i borrow that? :D

On my website that links to the forum, we put in a TOS thingy.......and to get to the forum theres a little "i agree" thingy, but they have to wait 30 secconds before it lets them check the box..........

Follow the rules or DIE!

Any form of moderator harassment including insults, failing to delete a thread that you were asked to delete, doing the opposite of something you were asked to do or reposting a thread that was deleted, might result in a ban. Just DON'T piss off the mods.

I don't allow any topics on politics or religion on my forums because they always lead to fights
