Stats can be decieving. It's better to judge based on your own experience. I personally find Firefox the better browser, but I'm not sure if it's faster than other browsers in general.

wouldn't it depend on your modem/dial-up/whatever for your speed and not the program? My IE is actually very fast because I'm right next to my router.

Firefox. Tabbed-browsing rules. Plus, I love many of the extensions like Foxy Tunes, DownThemAll and ESPN Toolbar.

IE. Filters (html filters, like glow) rock my world. Also, i am trying to cut down on HD space.

You don't have to use tabs in Firefox, you can use windows, tabs or a mix of both. You can also use ctrl+tab to switch through tabs.

you can have more then one Firefox window open but tabs do not cluter up the task bar, espical if your on 2+ sites at a time. ;)
Any who in topics like this theres normaly a flame war started by fan boys of one/both broswers.. and time and again its been proven that there's a Firefox bias here this topic is kinda of useless :/
