I wouldn't reccomend it listing it on other forums. I don't think forums get much credit from Google. The only reason I'm saying this is because I tried with a really popular forum and it didn't really do much, so that's why I personally stayed away. I mean actual good sites.

Oh and this is important, when you do it make sure you use whatever the search term you think people will use most to look for you site would be. For example, your site's may be Football forum. So instead of asking to be linked to a bunch of different keywords like "check this out" or "head2head" or "best football site ever" ...chose a few keywords and just ask the link to be titled that way.

I never really experienced with image-links..so I'm not sure how google judges them...but once I went to check what photos of mine did google have in its search engine..and a lot of them were just lame photos that i hosted..but didn't have much to do with my site  ..so I dont know how much of an indicator that is..but I just personally dont trust the image search much yet. :P

No problem.

And just for the record I don't feel like answering anymore questions anymore. Because the other secret about getting #1 is keeping your best secrets as a secret... or else it will be exploited by a million other sites and google will probably code their engine against it. :P

If you would like to, try adding your site to Dogpile

It's basically Yahoo, Google and a few other search engines combined.
