I suggest that you contact the forum first, then if they don't do what you want, report them.

All right. But is there an easier way to have it taken down besides contacting that office (report page>copywright infringement it should be written there) we just want the banner taken down. We do not wish to take legal action

Twilight is upon me, and soon night must fall.

Unfortunately not. You could just change the urls repeatedly, but due to abuse of copyright infringement reports, and our inability to judge what is copyrighted, that's the only way to get it removed.

They stole your banner?
What nerve.
I know people steal skins and make adjustments to try and pass it off as their own, but outright theft of a banner is a new one on me.

Didn't your banner have your board name on it, or something marking it as uniquely your own? Not that it matters, if it's your it's yours. I'm just trying to understand how the theifs think they can get away with it.

Nobody ever said thieves were overly intelligent, though.

In the case that if they're hosting themselves; they will just ignore you.

In which case, you could contact their ISP, which may or may not do anything, but I would think it would be against the ISP's TOS.

Like PhranK said, contact their webhost. If they are indeed hosting themselves, then sign up on the ripper's forum and ask them to remove the banner. a person who steals a banner has alot of stupidity in themselves.

Don't count on it. They probably prefer the money they get from the person more than some person's banner.
