I get a kick out of using AOL (I get it for free with my cable so I use it sometimes) when your IP changes every few page loads or so. At one point, I apparantly had a Kansas IP (I'm in North Carolina).

Maybe I was dreaming, but I think I remember coming across a Firefox extension that was made as a workaround for problems caused by Google and others customizing search results to your location.
Apparently something along the lines of when pasting a link to search results, the results could be different for whoever you're pasting it for, so this extension strips out the localizing stuff so you know that everyone will see what you meant them to see. :wacko:
