Whats a chav?

The town has recently become associated with chavs, a word taken from the Romany word chav meaning 'boy', describing a set of cheap fashions and taste associated with white, working-class young people, and commonly thought to be an abbreviation of "Chatham Average".

this is to kinda to both people. its taken from wikipedia about chatham so it tells you where the word comes from and kinda what they are

american humour and british is very different. americans don't tend to find irony funny and usually can't laugh at/ mock themselves much. in britain our comedy is pretty crude and risky. thats just in general really and not saying british humours better because alot of american comedies are hilarious.

"The words "British Humor" are an oxymoron, and rightfully so. The British are well known for their sophisticated senses of humor. Humor is such an important part of British life that it has even pervaded their very language. Example: The British spell the word "humor" h-u-m-o-u-r. Why the extra "u"? Because it's ironic."

Thats the best explaination of British Humor.

I think my favorite quote goes along with this:

Quote:

'Always remember to laugh at your self, or you may just be missing the biggest joke of the year.'

I heard it from one of my friend, but I'm sure they didn't make it up. :/ But, nonetheless, I love it.
