I've wanted for a long time to bring in more serious tournament type games. I've tested the success of a serious game several times throughout several months. Most failed. The most recent test, Invisionfree Makeover, proved that a serious game can survive, but not well. I would really like to bring back Invisionfree Trivia, as well as several other tournament type ideas, but I am pretty sure, they will never survive in the current atmosphere of ratings and games. |

I think we should give serious games a chance, since this forum is, even though some might not like to admit it, pretty much a spam forum. At first we should put announcements in other forum to lead to that game, but once people get the hang of it, tournaments in this forum can be ordinary. |

I agree with Goku20043. I love InvisionFree Trivia and would also like to see more serious-type games in R&G. I think once the community sees that serious-type games are in R&G, they will come and participate. I just don't think that everyone is quite used to those type games in this forum, though with more of them, it would be easy for them to be normal in a forum such as this. |

Questions on InvisionFree and its history and its members? [/wild guess] I vote yes, serious games are more fun to play. However, there should be more scope of particiaption, unlike the makeover where the few 14 or whatever members to get a makeover were quickly picked leaving no chance for those who live in other time zones. |

IF Trivia would be a good tournament. Can you make an elimination tournament? There's about 3 threads that are like that. |

I have something similiar planned. Not so much elimination but since it is tournament style teams will be eliminated.

I'd play some serious games. I'm new to the support forums, so I don't know the disasters the past may have held, but I do know that serious games would be a nice change to some of the mundane games we play here. So I voted yes. With all due respect, ~~~Mr. Cain and Mr. Abel |
