I absolutely LOVE anime and manga. I draw it all the time, and that's what I hope to do when I go to college(If I ever do... whcih I do plan on~! lol)
I've made up many of my own series/stories and stuff. Many characters I have... and still many I have made, but have no story to them yet. My dream would to have my stories and characters published by Tokyopop or some kind of big-name manga company.... <333
Here is a list of just SOME of my favorite anime & manga(but, btw, some that are listed are ones I have only seen a few episodes or only one dvd volume of... but I still count them as my faves! =P)

Sailor Moon(first anime ever)
Tenchi Muyo(snd, lol)
Mobile Suit Gundam Wing(3rd...? lol. Quarte is still my favorite! =P)
Outlaw Star(I miss that show, I think I only saw about 4 epsiodes of it.. then again, it was so long ago)
Mobile Fighter G Gundam(Omg... I had the hugest crush on George deSand... xD)
Ghost in the Shell(Stand Alone Complex & 2nd GIG)
Naruto(mostly the manga)
Full Metal Alchemist(the movie looks kinda weird -.-'')
Samurai Deeper Kyo(I got a free t-shirt with it when I purcahsed volume 2 of the DVD ^^)
Saiyuki(the 4 hottest anime guys on the face of his earth! <3)
Yu Yu Hakusho(*hugs Kurama plushie* MIIIINNNEEE.... *foams at the mouth*)
DBZ (Trunks is the best xD)
Crescent Moon(number 1 in my top 3 favorite manga of all time)
Descendants of Darkness(Yami No Mastuei)(i luffs hisoka and tsuzuki <3333)
Eerie Queerie(the series is only 4 manga volumes long, but I love it to death <3)
s-CRY-ed (OMG! *cries* Cougar was my favorite... I can't beleive he died!! T__T'''')
Geisters: Fractions of the Earth(eh, it's alright... actually kind of boring, but... it's still alright ^^; heh)
GTO: Great Teacher Onizuka(hoshiznits... what a crazy guy, lol)

Umm... I can't think of anymore o.O There probably are but I can't remember ^^;;; heh.

But I don't know what people see in Yu - Gi - Oh. All I like there is to draw those monsters.

How much of it have you seen [not counting Yugioh GX, that one sucks]?

I like it because of the bond the characters share and the heavy emphasis on family/friends it delivers. For some of these characters, you can really feel some sadness for them because even though it's fiction, there are people who still have a lot of problems. Like Joey got separated from his sister because of parents divorcing. That kinda thing happens a lot and you feel sad for him, even if he's not real.

Another thing I like is how much the beliefs of the characters vary. You can always find someone who thinks like you do. You can put yourself right there and relate to that character, since a lot of them are High School kids. There's even a lot of the favorite stereotypes, like the cocky blond guy, the pretty boy, the desperate friend, the rich nerd, the lovetorn girl who overlaps with the childhood friend of the protagonist, the spoiled brat - there's actually 2 of these, one overlaps with the evil-step-sibling stereotype, while the other is kinda "the damsel in distress" even though he's male; he still gets kidnapped a lot and is the Achilles heel of the rich nerd - lots more man.

OK so that was a joke more than anything else...

Down to it, why people like it is the characters. If you're not into characters of anime, Yugioh is probably not for you.

I watched enough to start hating it. I don't like it is so predictible. That is one of the reasons. The other ones is I don't like characters. Yugi creeps me out with his eyes.

OK so the latter is a suitable reason in my book  every guy I talk to says the same thing about Yuugi's eyes, though all the girls think it's adorable XD [myself included]

Though a lot of the times is VERY perdictable.. but a lot of anime is that same way...

Yeah I said a lot. In which case FLCL would not fit under that category.
