so....whats going ot happen w/ lord of the rings? i thought the movies and books were greater then anyother of thier kind! but? what about the movies?is it just over? they arent going ot show more? just thats it? i think it could go on! cause at the end of the last movie it looked like it would go on >_< i think they should ya know? and if they dont oh well? but they should think about it |

Yes, the Hobbit is scheduled for release in late 2007 early 2008. Peter Jackson was recently fired from it. Question what more do you want? They could add the parts of LOTR they removed from the book. But what else? Tolkien did not have a too extensive library of LOTR stuff, they could remake the Simarillion, but that would be a 20 hour movie at least. |

Hobbit is to come out, like others said, but Christopher Tolkein is refusing to sell the rights for the Sil, which I really don't blame him for, and all of the "Book of Lost Tales" stories really wouldn't make good movies. Tolkien's library was extensive, just not what we'd want to see in movie form. You could always try reading his books instead of waiting for movies. |
