Macs:

Pros:

  • Sleek/Stylish
  • Good for video/image/web editing (Personal preference)
  • Easy to use
  • Can run the three major operating systems, amongst others (OS X, *Nix, Windows).
Cons:

  • Training wheels you can't remove
  • Expensive
  • Hardware only available from Apple vendors/Hard to customise
  • Lack of gaming support (in comparison with PCs)
PCs:

Pros:

  • Parts are relatively cheap
  • Easy to customise/build your own
  • Available from any decent vendor
  • Unrivaled games compatability (Namely Windows)
Cons:

  • They're generally pretty ugly-looking, unless you have a custom case mod
  • Can only run two of the three major operating systems (Windows, *Nix), although has support for others.
  • Can be unreliable (Namely Windows)
  • Critical parts can be expensive to replace.
So, you see, neither holds a clear advantage over the other. They both have pros and cons which cancel each other out. It's just like the OS war: There is no such thing as a superior operating system, each has its own unique purpose which it is suited for. It is much the same here. Macs and PCs have different purposes. It's down to personal preference. Nothing is superior.

Mac.

And frankly, I'm tired of all this bs about Mac vs. PC. Who cares? Honestly. Neither is 'better' than the other. Everyone has their own preference, and that what it comes down to.

:frantics: Agreed.
