HP Rocks my Sox. :P I Wouldn't want it banned under any circumstance.

And J.K. Rowling MEANT for her books to get darker as Harry got older. And think about it... there are A LOT worse books being sold in public book stores than Harry Potter. I don't care what you say.

The children and adult UK editions are exactly the same, they just have different cover-art.

Like I said I would only ban it because I hate it.

Have you read them?

On a side-note, J.K. Rowling didn't become a billionaire by tripping over. :r

Why ban Harry Potter?! He did nothing to you ever!!! *tears*

I personally don't want the series to end, nor ban it. I don't think it is harmful in anyway towards younger readers. It's their fault if they believe in it, it's only a story and it's not like they have to read it to make bad choices in life.

If the series was to be ended, I wouldn't really mind. I just hope the grand 3 trio survive the final battle.

Harry Potter is for nerds :)

 We enjoy reading, therefore we are nerds?

Not that I'm not a nerd, just for entirely different reasons.

But yes, I cannot wait for the release. I'll be at the midnight release nearest to my house :P

Seeing as the book is not coming out in the US in kids version, it will not silence that many critics. In fact, I doubt it will silence any at all, while it may be a 'kids version' how could you completely get rid of the witchcraft and such without destroying the HP story.
