Arghhhh I re-formatted my computer and everything is fine apart from sound. I don't know what my sound card is but I need the drivers for it. Does anyone know how I can find out what sound card I have?! :-/ |

I'd use Aida32, a system profiler. It will tell you what sound card you have.

Maybe buy a new one. You should be able to get one for like 30 dollars. The sound card might have even died. You never know. |

Even easier. Right Click on My PC, properties, hardware. There is an option in there that lists all the hardware in your computer. It will show your sound card with a red X (Since it is not installed). Right click on it and select "Upgrade Drivers" (or install drivers, something like that). I will let you chose if you want to download them from internet, and it will do the job for you
