Just Wondering, only on the support board, they spell out the names of the whole months, while on all the others; it's the abbveation of the month. Why is this?

The admins probably changed it in ACP > System Settings > Date & Time Formats, which uses the PHP Date[/URL] format. (Capital F gives a full textual representation of a month, such as January or March.) :)

Why isn't it on by deafult? I thought Invisionfree Support Forums was a place where they don't enable certain things unless they are on all board to begin with.

Um, well for one not many people notice, or care. I guess the administrators prefer it this way. I fail to see how it's the big deal you're making it into, I guess. It requires typing one letter in your Admin CP, and clicking Save Settings.

We don't leave everything at default. That would be foolish, and would make running this forum very difficult. Not only does having it different on here show off the feature, it makes it easier to read in my opinion. When staff members say they like to keep it as close to default as possible, they mean not adding anything that you can't do with the default software, such as things added with codes.

We don't. Hence why we don't overtly add codes which people may mistake as features.

The key is that this isn't a code; it is a feature that's available to anyone with a board. :)

The same happens with the colored names. There are persons that do not know it is possible, and it is still used here, but you do not need any code for that. It is simply done through the ACP (It does not come by default ;) )
