Have a member of your team run around with a spring board, while rushing the net have him place it in front of you..volia...slam dunk it.

My reply was a joke, but I have seen special runners in the back of some magazines that are supposed to make you jump 3-4 inches higher, it builds up the
bottom back leg muscles..forget the muscle name off hand

I saw some movie once where they were training this guy for something similar.
They put ankle weights on him (bags full of lead pellets tied on) and some around his waist too, and he would wear those around all the time, but also do some jumping routines and stairs.
They had him do stuff in a swimming pool too, if I remember correctly.
Or maybe that was a different movie.
But water is great for any sort of resistance training I think.
Nothing is going to help you much if you need to jump higher by next week, but if you do those things, I would think you'd notice some improvement after 3 or 4 weeks.
You could always ask a basketball or volleyball coach. ;)

Tie a rope to two cars facing the opposite direction. Tie one to your hands and one to your feet. Get the drivers to drive, and then let your limbs rip out of there sockets.
