That was pretty funny. It reminded me of the FF vs IE commercials. They're really good

I'm not disputing they're not good computers. In fact I'm sure they're really good and easy to use. But what puts me off is their sheer arrogance and their ignorance towards PC. A bit of competition is always welcomed, don't get me wrong, but when you begin slating another company completely you've got far too far. Maybe PC isn't the easiest of softwares to use - especially the older versions. But whatever happened to people reading a manual and the instructions? I think people have got too lazy for their own good. |

well manuals and instructions are just to difficult. its not lazyness, its just a matter that they are so complex that even if they did read it they just dont know what to do. Macs are completely true that once you have em out of the box its easy, the manual is there, but no need to really read it. i personally have two mac computers. (one was neccessary for school) and i love them. no viruses, no pre set pop ups. no crashing. and about turning off randomly, its completely a lie. atleast mac commercials dont LIE against PC ive had both |

Both of them lie. Or at least exaggerate/twist the truth. A mac randomly turning off is not a lie. I've had my own experience with that happening on my old Mac and so have others. Just because you've never experienced it doesn't make it untrue. This parody was also made a long time ago, and thus applies to older macs. My new mac has never crashed on me once. Perhaps you have a newer generation less susceptable to problems as well? Anyway, what bugs me is when people say one computer sucks and the other doesn't. It's all about preference, something clearly doesn't suck if thousands or millions of people use it. |

Not sure, but you might be misunderstanding me (or maybe I'm misunderstanding you). I'm saying Macs don't suck and neither do PCs. No one OS is better than the other, it's all about opinion. |

i understand both are very capable computers and os. currently i am on my PC. i am just saying, the fact that "thousands or millions" of people use PC is because they didnt have any other choice- or shall we say, option |

Millions. Maybe billions. I use PC for the same reason. If i got a Mac lots of programs wouldn't work and Macs are so expensive. |

Ah, I see what you're saying. Yea, that's largely true. But my comment applied to both PCs and Macs (millions of people use either). Macs are becoming more and more popular. I was rather shocked last year when I saw so many students using Macs at my university. I would have never imagined that 5 or 10 years ago. |

Yeah, Macs seem the more popular choice for students for some reason. I think the whole movie, audio, photo editing programs appeal to them. Personally i would prefer a really fast PC that would play games. B-) |

I have always used PCs. I have just touced a MAC twice, and it was a very pleasant experience. I still prefer PCs, but I would love to have a portable mac. However, they're way too expensive and I can't afford them :'( |
