I would love to go to the Order of the Phoenix London premiere. I don't have a TV. To win tickets, you have to match three days' worth of Cartoon Network's 'Star of the Day' something characters to the day of the week. It can be any three days thingy since May 26th to June 3rd.

So yeah, if you people don't mind, you have a TV and access to Cartoon Network, could you please tell me who the Star character or whatever of the day is for the next few days? It can be your birthday present to me. Even though I won't win the tickets. OK.

This is probably what i'll do to. I haven't actually read the books (I'm lazy), but i've watched all of the HP movies so far and i'm really looking forward to this one. :)

Yeah, if I don't go to the premiere (which I probably won't), I'll go to the local Showcase. Fernicia, we chucked out the TV about 10 years ago 'cause of religious-y reasons. So do any of you watch Cartoon Network?

For this movie especially, I encourage you to read Book 5. It will be so much better than the movie because the movie will cut some of the best scenes out due to time constraints.

I've read early reports back when there were advanced screenings. Not too good from what I saw. I'm sure that's because of what they had to cut out and what they changed, so I'll still see it.

I agree with Stephen.

I like the books better than the movies.

I see. It's the same for LOTR, i'd guess. I haven't read those books either, but i loved the movies.

I do read quite a lot of books, but i just haven't got around to reading the HP or LOTR books. Somthing i regret.

If you don't read the books and only watch the films then you are missing out on huge amounts of information and parts of the story itself. The screenplay can also be completely off from the books. If you've read even the first chapter of the fourth book, Goblet of Fire, and watched the first ten minutes of the movie then you'll realised what I'm talking about. The whole of the fourth movie was a lot different, in fact.

I, too, like the books much more than I like the movies. It'd still be amazingly cool to go to the premiere though. And I still like watching the movies although it doesn't feel all that good to see what they did to the stories sometimes.
