Honestly I've moved on. ZB took too long. And everything it's really promised to be, another place did in 6 months compared to the years this is taking. Maybe if ZB can do something amazing to change my mind i'll switch back. but for now... i don't see a point in being excited anymore.

I'd be curious to know what exactly was added. In addition to what was promised, brandon and seth have made dozens of features not promised. Not even thought of. This would again be why I still say it's unfair to judge ZB until Brandon actually says he's finished and releases it. And even then, give it a month to settle down. I think only then, can the software be looked at objectively.

If he wanted to, Brandon could have thrown a bunch of features onto IPB 1.3. But there was only so much room to grow with that. With a new software built from the ground up, there is much more room to grow and change.

Yes it took years. We wanted it out earlier. We all did. But things happen. More often it was servers that happened. So we learned from that and turned it to our advantage as another thing to improve with Zetaboards. In addition to just looking pretty, Brandon has spent a LOT of time improving the performance of the board. Faster loading, less server errors etc.

As to something amazing. Well once again, look at it objectively one month after the release.

that's why i still have a beta open, and why i still check this board. just to see if anything is going on. i know it's not completely fair to base a decision off of a beta... but as for now i'm just going to use the other service until something changes my mind.

Don't rush :)
They are slowly working on it :)

But everything else?

Not yet. Also, just because bugs are not disappearing. Doesn't always mean they are not working on them. Editing the things that make up ZetaBoards takes tons of patience. I have tried coding and debugging my own message board. It is much harder then one would think

Yes, fixing bugs is not a "click the fix button". :r
