1. Probably silly/stupid but how would I go about of deleting ALL partition's on a computer system? Or lest seeing what the partition's are.

Why would I want to do this? Right now i'm having some problems on the computer (& subsequent programs).

Why? I want to reformat this computer COMPLETELY (if possible), but want to make sure everything is gone and I can do a reformat.

2. How would I exactly do that once the partition's are gone, I have a Vista CD, & CD'S containing a backup.

3. Would it be against the forum rules to ask for a site where I could upload several gigabyte size files (actually one, which is several gigs)? --- if so mods/admins may edit this out. I do not wish to break the rules (of any forum).

4. How would I keep KDB.exe from crashing everything I reboot the computer. Does it everything I press one of the extra keys on my keyboard after rebooting. Annoying.

5. Something for the TRILLIAN users. How would I (if I reformat) keep my current user(s) list in the format it's in?

* ROOT (MAIN)
o AIM (sub_folder)
+ {users}
# (sub_group)
o MSN (sub_folder)
+ {users}
o AIM_BOTS (sub_folder)
o (ZB staff . . .*) (sub_folder)

That's how my trillian list is currently, I want to keep it that way, and not have to recategorize it everything I reformat my computer. * note. I will NOT[/u][/color] give them out. Don't even bother asking, the posts asking will be deleted (if the staff wouldn't mind).

  1. To simple delete everything, its easiest to use a disk wipe tool. If you want to see exactly what partitions you have, you could use a tool such as PQ Magic. (I don't know a free substitute. :( )

  2. Simple insert the Vista CD (Isn't it a DVD?) and turn on the PC. The installation should be self-explaining.

Actually I don't think I will reformat . . But everytime I reboot and press a multi-media key on this keyboard kbd.exe crashes, how the heck could I fix that so I can use the keys (MM) again? And I am 10000000000000% sure I do NOT have any malicious software on this computer.
