I don't think anybody wants me to list off everything I like. a few of my favorite songs: Dream Police - Cheap Trick Godzilla - Blue Oyster Cult Janie's Got A Gun - Aerosmith Eleanor Rigby - The Beatles Someday I'll Be Saturday Night - Bon Jovi (It's my pick-me up song. :)) Mr. Roboto - STYX Music's fun for me. ![]() Other bands I like: Garbage 3 Doors Down Gin Blossoms and lot more. heh. I used to be... obsessed... with Evanescence. But I'm healthy. now. I still think Amy's vocals are amazing, but after Gray and LeCompt left the band ... I think that was the final straw. I was disappointed when Ben left the first time. |

I'm an aspiring musician. I've been listening to music ever since I was in my mother's stomach. I can listen to everything and anything. Literally. I had CMT on this morning because quite frankly, MTV and VH1 suck horribly at delivering any kind of good music. They used to be so cool... ![]() Here's a very tiny list of bands I like: Soundgarden Pearl Jam Nine Inch Nails Rage Against the Machine Avenged Sevenfold Audioslave Chris Cornell's solo stuff Queens of the Stone Age Arctic Monkeys The Strokes Queen Pink Floyd Led Zeppelin Nirvana Alice in Chains AFI Bad Religion Alien Ant Farm John Mayer Blur Seether Stone Temple Pilots The Clash Tool Wolfmother They Might Be Giants The White Stripes Red Hot Chili Peppers Gorillaz Foo Fighter Franz Ferdinand Dream Theater The Rolling Stones Cream Porcupine Tree Arcade Fire Mudhoney Daft Punk Muse The Chemical Brothers Safri Duo Theory of a Deadman Guns 'n Roses Velvet Revolver Breaking Benjamin Three Days Grace Counting Crows Crossfade Coldplay Modest House Jimi Hendrix The Roots KCI and Jojo The Killers Mad Season Temple of the Dog Liquid Tension Experiment DangerDoom Cold Muse April Wine Rush Carlos Santana Sublime Acroma David Bowie Buckcherry Screaming Trees Smashing Pumpkins Wu Tang Opeth Cypress Hill Led Zeppelin (though I feel Stairway to Heaven is VERY overrated) Immortal Technique Rodrigo y Gabriela The Raconteurs De La Soul N.W.A. That's mainly just rock and rap, Safri Duo's a percussion/dance duo, though. My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy, and Linkin Park can go to hell for all I care. I wonder how much money companies are making out of this "emo" scene we have... |

How can you stop loving a band you were supposed to love a lot, just because 2 members, who apparently deserved it, are gone? I'm no one to say of the deserved to be gone or not, since I don't know what really happened (only they know the truth), nut I don't see logic that. A group is about the music, not their personal problems, and the new guys give the music a new wonderful twist. The new guitar riffs, solos, and battery rhythms are wonderful, and Evanescence never sounded better (have you seen the Download 2007 concert? )Well, it's obvious I love Evanescence, but there are other bands too ( ) Like Within Temptation and Nightwish, which I love, and other genres such as pop and R&B

What would the Beatles be with out John Lennon or Paul MCcarty? The fact is that yeah bands *should* be about the money (and not the money but that is a dieing breads of bands) the people are also a big issue also, you need to right group to make a band a success, It is not the same when band members leave. |

Simple: because I liked LeCompt, Gray, and Moody. I'm not too happy that they left. :-/
That's being hopeful. But what if I liked the 'sound' they had with Gray and LeCompt? Sure, the new fill-ins can play My Immortal, Tourniquet, or any of the their other songs but will they achieve any other hits in the future? .... we'll just have to see. And yes, I've seen it. And truthfully, I don't see any difference between that and the concert I saw in Little Rock 3/25/07. :-\ (Minus the allergies, of course. lol. Poor Amy.)
Now I'm just being a butt, but: The new Nightwish isn't as great either, in my opinion. But don't get me wrong, Anette can sing; just I prefer Tarja's vocals. |
