Do we know how many pages its going to be?

The American version will be 784 pages from what I can find via various google search results.

Not trying to give spoilers out. But I do recall in Half Blood Prince harry was told that the scar may be a part of voldermort, so if harry dies voldermort dies. Or something along those lines.

The prophecy states that either must die while the other survives, suggesting that perhaps Harry doesn't die if Voldemort is destroyed.

I'm really looking forward to it. I'm not sure when I'll be getting it (definately not at midnight :P), but probably at 7 when a local store opens. That's what I did for HBP. I got it for like 14 bucks with a discount from points or something.

Sadly, my brother will be reading it first, but it should only take him a day. ^_^

I bet Nevil is going to be the actual person in the prophecy. Remember in one of the books they said it was either Nevil or Harry and Voldemort chose Harry. Why else would she put such a useless character in the books?

makes sense to me.

I can't wait to read it, I plan on reading the whole thing in one sitting, only stopping for food, water(which i hope to have plenty supply in my room), and bathroom....no sleep :phrank:

EDIT: Just read online that the book reading that JK is doing in Britain will now be casted on the internet at the Bloomsbury website....i have plans for Friday evening now. :D

The scar could be one. Which makes sense, as each Horcrux is a part of Voldermort and the scar may be a part of him.

Not possible. Dumbledore said in the 6th book i think it was that it isn't possible for it to be Nevil. Voldemorte made it harry when he attacked him the night he killed Harry's parents. After that night Harry was marked as his equal so it isn't possible for it to be Nevil because he has not been marked as equal to Voldemorte.

Harry questioned this as well but Dumbledore quite quickly made us know Harry is definitely the "one".

I thought this same thing as well but as my fiance pointed out it isn't really possible Voldemorte lost his powers instantly after trying to kill Harry he wouldn't have had time to create one. The only reason he was there that night was because of the prophecy he wouldn't have been able to know Harry wasn't going to die to use him as a horcrux.

Can't you just cancel the order and re-order it to your address? You shouldn't have been charged for it yet, at least not until the release date.

Meh, I could do - but I can't guarantee i'm going to be at my house (where I work), as I might be back visiting my parents. I may as well get it delivered to work and just avoid reading about what happens till i've finished the book :P

That will be will a task. You will have to avoid turning on the news, reading the newspaper, going on the internet, and communicating with people all together... :P

Seriously, you should be careful about having the end ruined...

Thats is the most logical conclusion, and it would follow an actual end to the story. if Harry lives on, there will probably be too much of a wanting for more books. And after spending almost the past 20 years of her life working on the books, she might want a break...

Then again when I think about it there is something that tells me JK would never end the book in the way everyone thinks it would end. :shifty:
