How can they be sure that this isn't just circumstance? After all, an infinite amount of big bangs over an infinite amount of years with an infinite amount of space for the big bangs to spread out in to, there must be at least some recognisable amount of probability that not a lot of matter ends up spreading to some parts of space during a sample of big bangs. |
