I'm thinking you're too persistant, Cobra. Sure the ps3 has games the xbox doesn't, but it goes the other way around. There are benefits and drawbacks to each console. This is solely a matter of opinion. You can't really 'proove' one console is better than other. You can try to convince people that, but it likely won't work considering we're just discussing it on the internet. I can't really say which is better since I've only tried one of the two. But being that I have an Xbox360, and I enjoy it, like I enjoy playing Halo and other games on it, the 360 is for me. |

I have played both systems and in the end the ps3 wins no hands down. The graphics are better, download anything you want, and much more |

I prefer Wii. It actually has a big difference from its previous console, Gamecube. PS3 is unnecessary for me as I think PS2 is good enough. Same for Xbox, although I haven't tried the Xbox series. |

Xbox 360. Mostly because it is the only system which supports Halo 3.

Xbox 360 is a more powerful videogame machine than the Playstation 3. Xbox 360 has a more advanced Graphics Processing Unit. Xbox 360 has a CPU structure based on the brand-new, very efficient, easy to use Multi-Core technology, giving the CPU of the Xbox 360 six threads to work with and three 3.2Ghz processors. PS3 has a CPU structure based on the outdated, inefficient, difficult to use Parallel processing technology, giving the CPU of the PS3 only two threads to work with and only one 3.2Ghz processor. Xbox 360 has superior RAM in several ways: Xbox 360 has 512MB of Unified RAM that is much more efficient and flexible than the Non-Unified RAM used in the PS3. Developers can use the 512MB of RAM in any way they want on the Xbox 360. But the PS3 CPU has access to no more than 256MB of RAM at a time. The Xbox 360 Operating System is designed in a much more efficient way than the PS3 Operating System. The Xbox 360 OS consumes only 32MB of RAM, leaving 480MB of RAM to be used for other purposes. The Playstation 3 OS wastes RAM by consuming 96MB of RAM, leaving only 416MB of RAM to be used for other purposes. Xbox 360 has 10MB of extremely efficient eDRAM. Playstation 3 has no similar type of RAM. Xbox 360 transfers data at 16MB per second, while PS3 only transfers data at 9MB per second. This is the reason why load times are always faster in Xbox 360 games, unless the PS3 hard drive assists in the load times, which rarely occurs. The list goes on and on in terms of technical ways the Xbox 360 is superior to the PS3 in terms of videogame graphic related performance. PS3 might be able to do more Floating Point math calculations, but as people often point out, the fact is that Floating Point math calculations are something used by software programs like Spreadsheets and Accounting software. Videogames don't use Floating Point math calculations for graphic performance. In reality, the performance we see with our eyes and experience with gameplay is what matters the most. Xbox 360 games look better than Playstation 3 games, and they play better than Playstation 3 games. That's what is most important. Being able to play all the third-party games online while talking with a headset is really fun on the Xbox 360. It really sucks that most PS3 third-party games don't let that happen. Call of Duty 3 and F.E.A.R. on the Xbox 360 are fun to play because you get to talk online and the graphics are cool! But the Playstation 3 versions of those games don’t let you talk online, and they have very choppy framerates, and they don’t have a controller that rumbles. A lot of PS3 games don't even let you play online at all, even though the Xbox 360 versions do. And Xbox 360 has a controller that rumbles and vibrates. All of that adds up and makes the Xbox 360 so much better. Xbox 360 already has a much better library of games, and it will stay that way. Games made with the Xbox 360 in mind always end up better on the Xbox 360. The PS3 versions just aren't as good. PS3 fanboys often try to say that the reason why the PS3 versions of games aren't as good is because they were designed with the Xbox 360 in mind and then ported to the PS3. |

I currently own the 360, and it has served me quite well. I'm not a big console gamer - or any sort of gamer, really - which makes the 360 very appealing. The arcade games are perfect for killing 10-20 minutes when I'm bored, the single-player games can eat up countless hours, and the multi-player games have great replay value. The 360 also serves as a great DVD player which I appreciate. The PS3 is releasing some games that are really making me consider buying one off Ebay. I've loved the Ratchet and Clank franchise, and it's killing me not to be playing the latest one! |

Wii would be my choice, but between the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, Xbox 360 wins easily. Playstation 3 still needs to get a few excellent exclusive games (it has one, if that, while Xbox 360 has Gears of War, Halo 3, and BioShock not counting the PC version). If I had a Playstation 3 I would be clueless as to what games I would get. Ratchet and Clank? I have quite a list of Xbox 360 games I would get if I had an Xbox 360. |

Why does everyone say Xbox 360 is better? it isn't PS3 has better graphics and has blue ray discs for it. A regular blue ray system is about 3000 dollars. So a PS3 is like a two in one. It may have a few games right now but it will get better. These games will only be on the PS3: FF Verses, FF13. And sooner or later they will remake FF7 for the PS3. |

"Better Graphics" is an opinion. Each system has its pro's-and-con's. As to Blue Ray Players being $3,000 that's hardly the case. A quick amazon searched revealed this. |

PS3 was made for graphics and good games. PS3 is a unvirsal system just like the ps2. The ps2 has over 5000 titles to pick from. Xbox 360 was made mostly for shooting games and most of them are shooting games. |
