Are you allowed to vote for yourself? I have heard that it is a rule that you cannot vote for yourself, yet some clans all vote for themself, immediately giving themselves a 6 vote lead, and making the amount of votes they have to get only 4 in order to reach the winning 10. Just wondering. Not a pressing question or anything. |

I don't think it's a set rule that you cannot vote for yourself (someone correct me if the rules have changed) but many people will vote for their opponent to show good sportsmanship. While I admit I vote for my opponent whether I think my skin is higher quality or not, it really should come down to which skin you really think is better. |

If I prefer my own skin, I just don't vote. Let the public decide, as I said. |

in my battles, I vote for which skin i thinks is best, whether its mine or an opponents. They should make a rule for clan battles at least for the reason goey stated above. ^^^^^^^^^ |

Well you are supposed to always vote for what skin is best, but there's not really a way to force people to vote in an unbiased fashion. Even if they know their skin isn't as good, they can claim they honestly think it's better and we can't really tell people what to think....If that makes any sense at all. I think in most cases the best skin does win, even if people vote for themselves. |

You see, that's the problem I forsee in clan battles. When a clan (say a 6 member one) is battleing against a smaller clan (say a 3 member one), the bigger clan usually wins just because of the fact they have 6 members, and only need 4 to get to the required 10, while the other one has to get 7. That, and even if they are even, 6 to 6, they still only need 4 votes to win, something that a clan can easily get just from fan support. So in clan battles, the skin may start meaning less than the amount of people in the clan and friends with the clan members. Just my thinking. It may be wrong, but I stand by my thinking that it may become rather unfair. -Goe |

Yeah that is true, but I am trying to think of a way to enforce such a rule o.O That is the troubling part. |

The only thing I know to fix that would for people to post their vote instead of on the poll. Then you can also compare IPs for double voting. |

Simon is correct. Although double voting may be a problem for the more crooked clans, I'm talking more about when the larger clans vote for themselves so that they already have a 6 person leg up on the competition at the start. |

yeah, but the posting the votes has both it's pros and cons...it would prevent clan members for voting for themselves and help against double posting...but it would also be a huge amount of work for the mods to determine who wins. |

True. Especially if a Skin Clan League is started.... But still, I wonder.... what may the solution be to this? Thus far I haven't seen a clear solution... -Goe |
