I love my TFT, saves so much space, doesn't produce as much heat, doesn't use as much power, bigger resolution and looks much nicer. Plus it's a clearer image and doesn't produce glare.

That's because I was using a CRT, and had heard bad things about TFTs. Plus there has been a huge price drops, along with a significant raises in the quality of TFTs, making them or the more worthwhile.
