OMG! I finaly figured it out..; Bit sloppy though

I finaly worked out how to use the masks and the layers.. Here is what I made.. I sorta rushed it so it isn't as good as it could have been.. Also the text is VERY boring.

the simplest way is, zoom in on the pic you want to use, pick the magnetic lasoo tool (in the same block as normal lasoo and polygonal lasoo) then make your way carefully around the pic you want to cut out. then when your done, cut it out, open a new document with a transparent background. zoom back in and check for bits sticking out to much etc. then re-size to fit your chosen sig or woteva, then use the drop down blendin modes and select one that makes your image best fit the rest of the graphic. for example, the pic in my sig is set to "luminocity". which blends it quite well :)
