No weapons of mass destruction have been found...it's been said over and over again. The weapons that have been found were from an unknown origin (probably the US) from the 1980's (when we were known to sell weapons to Iraq to support their war against Iran). The chemicals in these weapons have an expiration date, and were practically useless by the time the were "discovered" in the hands of insurgents. These chemicals have an expiration date, just like medicine does. (does anyone remember the nearly 2 tons of WMD that were found outside of Washington DC in April of 2003?...our government didn't even know they were there, they'd been buried for safe keeping back in the 80's, and oops, we forgot about them, until someone wanted to build on that site) The links between Iraq and Al Qaeda have been proven to be weak and coincedental. Saddam was approached by various Al Qaeda operatives on four seperate occasions since 1994, and Saddam never responded to their requests. Furthermore, Osama Bin Laden hated Saddam, openly stated this several times since 1998, and Osama deplored Saddam's secular government. Saddam's army, at the time of military operations in March of 2003, was less than a quarter of what it was back in 1991. There was no reason, in the scope of the War Against Terror, to pursue Iraq...Iraq played no part in the 9/11 tragedy, nor had they demonstrated any desire to to so. Saddam was whack, no doubt about it, but that wasn't cause for us to wage war. |

Guys okay Bush and Tony Blair executed 1441 because everyone else was afraid of doing it, if Kerry or Al Gore was in office we wouldn't be in Iraq and Saddam would continue going up to random people on the streets and shooting them for no reason well guess what Bush had a reason and a good one. |
