You know how vulerable the US is to another attack? First off, I just got back from a trip to Canada Pulling a camper behind, we went through customs, they didnt even ask to see ID,Birthcertificats or even to search the RV. and Canada does not have strong customs coming into their country, A terrorist organization could cross into the US through Canada.
Now to get on topic, I do not think that a new office building should be constructed. Reguardless of the money, If you ask me, money cannot replace a tragic event in US history, and 3,000 lives. If you know, someone wanted to build a tower where the flight crashed in penn. ok, but not where 3000 people where killed.
I disagree with you, show me proof of when an event like this has occurred before the 911 incident. The U.S has highly increased it's air, land, and water defense system and are most always (if not all the time) ready for an attack. Canada is a totaly different story, don't get me started about my opinion on our customs system, I somewhat agree with you though, Canada is far to easy for people to enter.

From their, they have RPG's it would be encredibly easy to launch a RPG into a nuke power plant, if they took out 1 nuke in everystate that has one, the fall out would be bad, and the US would be out of power for months.
Explain please, the way I define the acronym RPG is Role Playing Game, thus our understandings are probably much different. As for your comment about the nuke power plant thing in every state, I find it highly unlikely that a terrorist organization would conduct the same operation in 50 U.S states without the U.S nation finding out.
If you can offer proof of your points, I'd be more then happy to listen. Here's somewhat my opinion on this matter, the Peace Tower has been constructed in somewhat of a way so that an event like 911 shall not occur again, the old Twin Towers looked somewhat like this (please excuse the bad drawing):

You may not notice the slight architectureal differences, but they're there. Do you honestly believe that the U.S nation would not prepare for something like the 911 event again? That's one of the main things they've got to worry about now, hence the way the Freedom Tower is designed.
Here's my friends opinion on this as well, and I fully respect his opinion:
Well, if you're going to plan a terrorist attack, there's three things to consider:
- How many people can you kill?
- Do you have people stupid enough to give their life for your cause?
- And thirdly, what could you do that would cause the most panic in your target city/country?
If I was a terrorist organisation, I'd have the following in mind:
- The Statue of Liberty: Big potential target. Stands for American freedom. Hitting this would shock a lot of people, and be a big blow to the American ego, but that's all it would do. There is very rarely that many people in this building, so no-one would die.
- The new Freedom Tower: Even bigger potential target. It's going to be swarming with people, and it's the direct replacement for the previous attack. But that's the problem, people are going to be expecting this, so although a thwarted attack would cause panic, it wouldn't cause as much panic as a successful one would.
- The Pentagon: Not so interesting. Military outpost. Big bonus here, though, is the amount of high ranking officers concentrated in one place. Completely flooring this building on a busy day could completely cripple the American military.
- The Empire State Building: Currently the tallest building in the USA. Usually quite busy, and would be a pretty deep psychological blow to the US. As I see it, the Empire State Building isn't worth the hassle; nothing key happens here.
- The Chrysler Building: Art deco monstrosity. Destroying this would benefit the world. Forget it.

- Worldwide American Embassies; Britain, Iran, France, Germany, etc: These are easy targets in countries that wouldn't necessarily be expecting an attack, and it would make a worldwide point: We know who you are, we know how to frighten you, and we know how to do it.
Conclusion: the Freedom Tower is too likely and too well protected, the Statue of Liberty would not draw enough blood, the Pentagon is too well protected, the Empire State Building is not important enough, the Chrysler building ditto previous. I would attack the embassies.
If America needs to step up security anywhere, it's in its worldwide embassies, particularly the British and possibly the French one.
Anyways ... That sure is a nice tower!
