Even if he is real, which I have serious doubts about, why would he punish me? He has given me no reason to believe...only reasons to not believe.

I know that I have faith issues. I don't trust religion.

The christins church has many issues in my point. I was beliving in Jesus buces I believed he could save mu grandmother and keep her here. I thought I had felt him but I never did.

When these relizations hit me I relized I was selfish in my belifs of the Christian religion. I started to serch for answeres that made since to me. After all if you cant understand it how can you believe it?

I found wicca. The goddess does not wnat us to fer her. She is ever loving. She spoke to me one day and told me that while my grandmother was no longer alive in a physical body she was an angel/spirit that was always going to be at my side.

I understood that possibility. I flet better and reassured knowing that my grandmother was living on in a spiritual form. While I cant see her I know she is here and around.

Those who believe because they fear God are selfish and have no rea trust in the christian faith. Its not right. I personally dont think church and religion tied you down.

Yes it takes time but it is time that helps lift your heart and can amke you feel better. To me religion no matter what faith you are is something that you need to be apart of on your own. You need to make the experinances your own.

I agree with this ... If god is real then he would want us to be happy and do as we wish as long as it wasnt 'bad' I suppose ...

The only reason we are here on earth is to reproduce, go find a girl.. They are the best things in this world and once you get one you will never stop talking about her.

This is just totally wrong :@ ... on this I agree with AgnosticAngel
If this was the reason for life then I'm a dodo bird !

My ideas on that would be that we live to be inriched with experiences the when we pass on we transfer those to the earth and thus keeping the world alive.. It acts like water to us !

With this view it could also explain why people pass on in the first place .

But that is just my view !

I guess I do believein God..well I do to some point
I think it's nice to think someone is watching over us and protecting us...but then I also saw so much bad happen to some people and I wonder...why?
I don't go to church or anything, where i am from not a lot of people do, but I like to think someone is up there

Several miracles happen EVERY DAY.

Just because most of them aren't worldwide world-changing events, doesn't mean they aren't miracles.

If you think about it, most of the miracles in the Bible were not world-wide life changing types of miracles either. They are only so well known because they are recorded in a book such as the Bible.

God doesn't have to part the seas, or bring our family and friends back to life, or turn water into wine for it to be considered a miracle. Just feeling the Holy Spirit there with you and being comforted by it is a miracle. I have seen people healed where there was literally no hope for them, according to the doctor. I'll share an important story in MY life, that I consider to be a miracle.

My mom had me in June of 1990. (I'm 14 now.) She had my brother in 94, this time hoping for a girl. She had another boy. About a year after that (I believe) she had her tubes tied. Mind you, she was only 27. About 2 years (I think) after, she decided she was not done bringing little people into the world. (lol.) She had her tubes 'untied', or fixed, or however you would put it. For some 7 or 6 years, she never got pregnant. Kaiser (I believe that's who they were with) said only one of the tubes was damaged. She should have still been able to get pregnant. Well, obviously that wasn't true because it still wasn't happening. Anyhow, long story short, my parents tried adoption (didn't work out), and foster care...which wasn't too good for us because everytime we got a kid they had to leave within a few weeks or months anyways. My parents eventually became interested in invetro. As a family, this was hard for us. My mom had to take all kinds of stuff for it to work right and whatnot. It was just really stressful. Keep in mind, this was all done basically in secret. No one else knew, just our family. Well, get this. The Pastor's dad @ out church, came to my mom Sunday and told him the Lord had given him a vision & that my mom would have twins. He also said that no matter what happened, not to worry because God is stronger. My mom ended up getting pregnant right away, with TWINS at that. This in itself was a miracle. Double the joy! How awesome is my God! And you can explain it away with science however you want, but this was all GOD, and listen to this. My mom had her first ultrasound done, and the doctor told us that onyl ONE of our two little miracles would survive. The other was less than half the size his brother. The doctor said he was so small he would basically just 'disolve'. The doctor gave him less than a 10% chance of survival. The doctor was confident we were going to have only one new addition to the family. When mentioning her pregnanct, he refered to the baby, never plural. A week later, my mom came back in for another ultrasound and God made that doctor check his eyes that day! He wasn't seing double, he was seeing a miracle! My brothers...BOTH of them.

If that isn't a miracle, I don'tt know what is!
GOD IS SOOOOOOOOOOO AWESOME!!!

he he...you got me all fired up now!

When it comes down the topic of religion, I could write a huge paragraph rant. But, seeing as Im a lazy *******, and those little buggers in my brain just arent co-operating today, Ill just say this:

DOWN WITH ORGINIZED RELIGION.

Seriously, orginized religion will be the death of our society. All those people who dont have something to belive in, go in flocks to stupid religous groups. Spend all day in church like the good people, and recycle, and donate, and all that good stuff. But, look at the Johova Witnesses (Sorry to pin you guys, and yes, I cant speel.) Seriously. The bases of their religion is that at the end of the world, only 2000 "chosen" will get into heaven. 2000! Whileall of these recruiters go fearlessly door to door presuring us shotgun loving brutes to get with the tims and join the religion. Seriously, thats twuisted.

While still on the subject of organized religion, and Jehova's Witnesses (not to pick on you guys) But my dad told me a story the other day about some familly friends of theirs. Their daughter had been hit by a car or something of the like, and was gonig to die. She was in the emergancy room, bleeding to death with her parents beside her. The doctor told her parents that they needed to do a blood transfusion or she would DIE. But, being the stupid people they are, the parents refused to allow the doctors to give blood to their child. She died on the table.

You see? Organized religion is BAD. Run away while you still can.

Now ONTOPIC: I dont belive in god, Yet, I do belive in a higher power, I just dont know what it is, yet.

So because one person did this all religious people do this?

Very bad example.

No, Im trying to point out the seriously twisted people, that do all of that for on the bases of their so called religion. The point is, if we didn't have organized religion, if everyone just had their own system of belives, if our generation wasn't so blatently STUPID, we wouldn't have all the problems.

I'm not so sure I believe that. There's plenty of psycho atheists and such out there. It really just comes down to each person.
