Hmm. See, I don't care if you don't care. You don't have to read this thread if you don't like it. :)

I like the books a lot better than the films, but I thought the third installment was better than the first two. It was less candycoated than they were.

Yeah, third movie was way better than the first two. They formed a central plot and cut out everything not relating to it, so they had more time to develop it. It's an entirely different thing from the book, but it was good nevertheless. The werewolf Lupin still looked like a pansy though (especially after watching Van Helsing).

Agreed, the werewolf Lupin looked stupid, they should have worked harder on that. The thing I liked about the 3rd movie was how dark and brooding Cuaron made everything feel, a mood that embodies the last installments of the books. I think he did more poetic justice to the HP universe than Columbus.
