WAYS TO MANAGE YOUR BOARD MEMBERS!

Spammers:

1.) Warn the spammer verbally about 15 times, in a nice way.
2.) If the spammer don't head the warning Suspend them for 5 days.
3.) If that don't change the spammer warn him 2 times only be more direct.
4.) If the spamming continues suspend for 20 days.
5.) If the spammer comes back and keeps on put a permanent IP ban in place.

Advertisers:

1.) Tell the advertiser not to advertise again.
2.) Tell him/her not to do it or face suspension without warning if it's done again.
3.) Suspend the account for 7 days.
4.) Ban the site address, aka ban the part in bold :: invisionfree.com/forums/add
5.) If they change the site address suspend the user for 30 days.
6.) IP BAN THE PERSON.

Staff vs. Member feuds:

1.) Tell the member and staff member to stop acting up.
2.) Verbal warn both 10 times.
3.) If they continue suspend the member for 7 days and demote the staff member for the same.
4.) If they continue demote the staff member permanently and ban the member for one month.
5.) If they continue once more it's IP Ban.

Member vs. Member Feuds:

1.) Say to stop nicely.
2.) Tell them to stop more directly
3.) 5 Verbal warns directly
4.) Suspend both for 10 days
5.) If they keep on 5 more times IP Ban.

NOTE: I suggest a member fight arena (fight forum) for members to blow off steam. Remember to be friend all your members.

If you need any more coverage on other problems feel free to tell me, Move or close if needed.

I thought they were good.

15 verbal warnings?! If I did that, that's seriously ALL I would have time to do some days o.O Some of them aren't bad ideas but that's WAY too many 'second chances' if you're running any kind of active forum that actually has a problem with spam.

And what's with like a bunch of verbal warns then going straight to suspending an account? Make use of the warning system, that's what it is for!

I used to be a spammer and leniant rules aren't what made me stop. You need to use the warn system instead of just a bunch of verbal warnings. Also, why would you verbally warn someone 10 times for feuding? After the first, use the warn system that was made for you to use instead. Alot easier if you ask me...
